About This Opportunity

Rocky Mountain Thrive is seeking licensed clinical supervisors with approved supervisor designations to join our growing telehealth group practice serving clients throughout Colorado.

As a clinical supervisor, you'll provide individual and/or group supervision to our candidate clinicians and master's-level interns, helping them develop their clinical skills while building their caseloads. You will also carry a client caseload of 10-12 clients depending on the supervisee caseload that you have. This is an excellent opportunity to mentor the next generation of therapists while maintaining flexibility in your schedule.

Position Overview

This is a part-time contract position with flexible hours. Supervision arrangements are tailored to your availability and experience.

Clinical Supervisor & Psychotherapist Role
  • Provide weekly 1:1 supervision to assigned intern level supervisees and bi-weekly for associate level supervisees
  • Review and co-sign clinical documentation
  • Guide clinical case conceptualization and treatment planning
  • Support supervisee professional development
  • Participate in monthly team meetings
  • Submitting masters student evaluations for intern programs
  • Minimum of 4 supervisees with a target of averaging 8
  • Provide Bi-weekly 1:1 supervision to Associate licensed clinicians.
  • Maintain a client caseload of 10-12 clients or increase caseload to balance supervisees count
Supervisee Caseload

Supervisors are typically assigned 2–6 supervisees depending on availability. Each supervisee maintains their own client caseload and requires:

  • 1 hour weekly individual supervision per supervisee
  • Documentation review and co-signing (asynchronous, on your schedule)
  • Availability for urgent clinical consultation as needed

Total time commitment varies — most supervisors spend 4–10 hours/week depending on number of supervisees.

Compensation

$75/hr

Standard Supervision Rate

LPC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist supervisors

$80/hr

AAMFT Approved Supervisor

LMFT supervisors with AAMFT Approved Supervisor credential

Compensation is paid twice monthly via direct deposit on the 15th and last day of the monht

Position Requirements

Credentials & Licensure

  • Active Colorado license as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist
  • Approved Supervisor designation from relevant licensing board
  • Minimum 2 years post-licensure clinical experience
  • Prior supervision experience preferred
  • AAMFT approved supervisor for LMFT clinicians for the $80/hour rate.

  • Private and confidential space for telehealth sessions
  • Computer with camera for video supervision sessions
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Comfortable using electronic health record systems

Who You'll Supervise

Our supervisees are dedicated clinicians at various stages of their professional journey. All supervisees carry their own caseloads and provide telehealth therapy to clients across Colorado.

Master's Level Interns

Students from COAMFTE and CACREP accredited programs completing practicum and internship requirements. Interns typically carry 8–15 client sessions per week and are building foundational clinical skills.

Associate Clinicians

Licensed candidates (MFTC, LPCC, SWC) accumulating supervised hours toward full licensure. Associates typically carry 15–25 client sessions per week and are refining their clinical approach.
